FAQ Series: Can Non-Filipinos Buy Land in the Philippines?

Answer:
Technically, yes. But he or she cannot own the land. If he/she has the money, why not? But it can never be under his/her name. What he/she can do is have the property under a Filipino's name. That would legally make that Filipino the "owner" of the land. Many foreigners would love to stay here in his/her own property. That the best he/she can do. Marrying a Filipino would also be a solution. It will be named under that natural-born Filipino citizen. Filipinos who changed citizenship can still own land in the Philippines because of the dual-citizenship law, as long as he/she is natural-born Filipino.

So if you're non-Filipino and would like to buy a haven here, why not try Jubilation East in Laguna? It's the joy of Asian living...

Telephone lines available are PLDT, Digitel and PT&T (local call to Metro Manila).

Santorina Pics (SJV9)

This is Santorina. It is a 3-bedroom, 2-toilets-and-baths, single attached, 80sqm lot and 76sqm floor area in St. Joseph Village 9, Langgam, San Pedro, Laguna. It is the biggest or largest house in St. Joseph Village 9. All rooms are upstairs. You can have 2 living rooms downstairs or you can make the other space another room like tv room or a library or music room perhaps. The design is space efficient. You can even have some ballroom dancing on the ground floor. It is located near the proposed resort and there are just a few left.

Included also are the interior pics with the bedrooms (with masters' bedroom), toilets and baths, service area (kitchen/laundry), living room, dining room.

If you notice the door on the left pic, the next living room pic is at the right side.

Stairs to the 2nd floor with ground floor toilet and bath door (left) and back door (right) showing (pic above). Pic below is the space which can be a waiting area to the 2nd floor toilet and bath (door seen on the pic). Front of that seat is the stair railing. Behind that seat is one of the bedrooms.

Toilet and bath, both are alike, upstairs and downstair.

Bedrooms, obviously. :)

Last pic is the back door kitchen/service area which you can close out. Since the available units are inner units, Santorinas at your back and on your right (facing your house) will sort of enclose your area already. Your left side is your own firewall.

Spot Downpayment gives you 3% discount on the downpayment amount and Spot Cash gives you 5% on the contract price. That as much as 71,800 savings! :)

Reservation is only 10k. Bring your latest Meralco bill, valid ID, and proof of income (latest payslip).

Pics of Sampaguita in SJV10
